Short summary:

Frost and his friends Deedee, Wolf and Bench are a tribe. A herd. Them against the wolves.

The wolves being the middle school bullies, peers and strangers.

Their pack has reached a sense of normality and comfort, when suddenly, cell phones are banned at Branton Middle School.

Therefore, they must think of an innovative plan to communicate with each other.

Sticky notes!

And before you know it, their lockers become a sort of mailbox for each other’s notes and ideas.

But something weird happens.

Everyone else adopts this too. Sort of like a trend. And the school is now full of post-it-notes.

Amidst all of this chaos, Rose, a new girl, chooses to sit with the group. Bench slowly moves to the athlete group.

Will everything ever be the same?

Recommendation:

This book is a perfect representation of middle school daily life, with all its ups and downs. It realistically shows what a teenager feels and thinks throughout the day, it a relaxed way. A great read!
